Innovative 3D-printed columns at Dutch Design Week 2022
At Dutch Design Week 2022, Vertico showed a 2-meter-tall 3D printed concrete column at Robots that Build, hosted by Eindhoven University of Technology. The piece was made in collaboration with Cristina Nan and took about 40 minutes to print.
A column printed in 40 minutes
The short print time shows the efficiency and precision of Vertico's own printing techniques.
The column also shows how 3D concrete printing combines sustainability, speed and design freedom in the built environment. It follows the parametric columns from the Dutch Design Week 2021 seminar with TU/e.
