Why 3D Printing for Offshore Wind?

Floating wind turbines present a unique engineering challenge. Traditional manufacturing methods for turbine anchors and foundations rely on costly moulds, heavy materials, and time-consuming processes. With 3D concrete printing, we eliminate the need for formwork, reduce production time, and open the door to more complex and efficient structural designs.

This approach allows for rapid prototyping and scalable production, even in demanding applications such as offshore environments, where strength, durability, and precision are critical. It also supports the development of bio-inspired geometries that can optimize structural performance
