Award winning 3D-printed concrete canoe
In 2022, Vertico 3D printed a 4-meter-long concrete canoe without any support material. It was the first time in our series of concrete canoes that this was done.
Printing without support simplified production and improved the canoe's structural integrity. The result was an award-winning design that shows what 3D concrete printing can do.
The canoe series
The canoe was designed by Kees Leemeijer. Volker Ruitinga was responsible for the first canoe in 2018.
