Innovative 3D-printed office space design for Heilijgers

Together with Heilijgers, Vertico created a 3D printed concrete installation for an office entrance and foyer, possibly the first of its kind. The sculptural piece combines natural greenery with digitally designed forms and turns a transitional area into a place to experience.

Endless variations, one design language

Using parametric design software (Grasshopper), we created a modular system of planter panels. The panels share one design language while allowing almost endless variation.

This flexibility lets the design adapt to any layout or spatial requirement. Compared with traditional fabrication methods, it also reduces cost and waste.

A greener office

Subtle curves and textures give the foyer a fresh character. The project shows how office spaces can be brought closer to nature and to contemporary architecture.

It is part of Vertico's work in sustainable 3D concrete construction and architectural design. Heilijgers also partnered on the Line of Beauty bench.
