sneak peek alert! 🤝
We’re teaming up with @n.i.e.l.s.a.l.b.e.r.s and @studio_jkl who were commissioned by @tudelft to bring you the Bio-receptive Sphere—a two-year project blending creativity and cutting-edge science.
👩🎨 This art piece is designed by artists Niels Albers, Jan Koen Lomans, students and staff. Using accelerated 3D concrete printing, we’ve integrated parts developed by TU Delft’s spin-off, @urban.reef , and applied research from the Department of Materials, Mechanics, Management & Design (3Md) into bio-receptive concrete.
👀 Soon you’ll be able to see this Sphere in the pond in front of the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.
📱 Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this incredible piece to life!
