Custom 3D-printed facade elements for Valeipark housing
Vertico designed 11 custom 3D printed concrete façade elements for the Valeipark housing project, in collaboration with Heilijgers. The panels are shaped with parametric design to balance aesthetics and structure.
From digital design to printed panels
The process started with a fully digital workflow. Parametric software shaped the forms and prepared them for robotic printing.
A full-scale mock-up has already been printed. It confirmed the precision, feasibility and design potential of 3D concrete printing for architectural façades.
Efficient, material-conscious construction
Once the building phase begins, the panels will be printed and installed on site. That reduces logistics and material waste.
