"Line of Beauty and Grace" 3D Concrete Printed Bench
This 3D printed concrete bench was created for the Singer Laren Museum, bringing together form, function and fabrication. Inspired by the flourish of an artist's signature, the bench is an elegant gesture in the landscape that also works as comfortable, durable seating.
A collaboration in parametric craftsmanship
The bench was commissioned by Heilijgers, designed by Kiki & Joost and fabricated by Vertico using robotic 3D concrete printing. The design shows the creative potential of digital manufacturing while keeping full structural performance.

A Dutch Design Week 2023 favorite
The bench debuted at Dutch Design Week 2023, where it drew attention for its sculptural form, material honesty and real-world use. It is a clear example of architectural concrete design that works as both art and furniture, and of the design freedom 3D printing brings to customizable street furniture.
